Celebrating MLK’s Birthday  

Huffman celebrated the birthday of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. with civil rights
leaders, educators, and social justice
activists in the Marin City community on
January 15th at an event sponsored by the
Marin Grassroots Leadership Network. The
Assemblymember participated in a panel
that discussed equality in education and
eliminating the roadblocks to educational
opportunity facing Marin City’s mostly
African-American population.
