The Marin City Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Coalition was established in 2009 to
strategize about policy advocacy that benefits Marin City and to organize one of the
largest community events in the neighborhood, the Annual Dr. Martin Luther
King, Jr. Birthday Celebration. The Coalition is a broad-based alliance of local
residents and organizations whose mission is to help build a safe, healthy, thriving and self-determining Marin City.

Currently the Coalition includes representatives from the following

THE MARIN CITY 2011-2015 POLICY PLATFORM 

The Marin City Martin Luther King Jr. Coalition (MLK Coalition) developed the Marin City Policy Platform to identify issues that are important to the Marin City community and potential actions to address them.
