| About the Census 2010 in Marin |
| In recognition of the urgent need to create awareness and encourage everyone in our community to participate in the Census 2010, Grassroots Leadership Network of Marin is launching the first County-wide Census Awareness Week on March 1 to March 5, 2010, with a series of events that will be taking place throughout the county at schools, wellness centers, community centers, senior centers, parks, libraries, etc. We invite you to consider scheduling and sharing with us information about any event that you will host during that week for your staff and/or constituents. We suggest you use events that are already pre-scheduled such as regular monthly meetings, classes, and others. Or, if your organizational capacity permits, host a special event or activity like a booth about the Census at your agency, a community forum, etc. Creativity has no limits! We will need you to provide us with specific information including theme, date, time, etc. Please let us know of any opportunity your organization might have to participate in the Census Awareness Week. We are currently recruiting organizational members for the Marin Complete Count Committee (MCCC)! Click here to join the Committee! Or download the form below and fax it back to us with the information requested: Partnership Agreement Form (pdf) Resources are available to support MCCC members to spread the word about the Census: posters, flyers, etc. The following organizations are already part of the Marin Complete Count Committee!
